4. 2.5 Chair, 2024
Analog to Digital
This chair is the result of a skill building exploration that brings together metal, wood, textile, and foam. It blends digital prototyping tools like CNC machining, kerf cutting, and plasma cutting with traditional techniques such as welding, metal working, and Shibori dyeing. The process was an experiment in bridging technology and handcraft, using both precision tools and tactile methods to shape form, texture, and structure. The final piece reflects a layered approach to making, where process is as important as outcome.
