A Lover’s Story

A Lover’s Story was my first attempt at making a short film. The work follows our protagonist who just can’t seem to learn from his mistakes.

A Lover’s Story initially started as a photo project. The idea was to shoot a short film with stills so captivating they could stand alone on their own. This challenge proved to be harder than expected, however there are signs throughout the film that allude to this initial intention. Whenever you see the letter “A” that is a sign that this image was to be used as a still. The still images are available below.
